| Vinyl may be increasingly vintage, but, thanks to hipsters and DJs, turntables aren't a thing of the past just yet—and dancing never goes out of style. Celebrate the art of spinning alongside 1,500 of your closest friends with this record-setting Adventure: tickets to the Fatback Funk-A-Thon Dance Party, a seven-hour blowout featuring DJs from Fatback DC, as well as drink specials and all-American fare to keep your mojo moving.Head to The Park at Fourteenth—one of DC's hippest event spaces—anytime between 3 and 5 p.m. on July 28, where LivingSocial staff will check us in and be on hand throughout the day to make sure the funk doesn't stop. From the time the needle drops all the way until 10 p.m., we'll mix it up on the dance floor as the funk-masta DJs spin on all four of the club's floors and the awesome outdoor patio. All of Fatback's DJs will be there—with up to three spinning at once—each with his own unique brand of music (think: '70s, '80s, '90s, mash-ups, and more). To maximize the funk, be sure to arrive in a stellar decade-inspired dancing outfit for the costume contest; the winner will receive a rather groovy free tab to enjoy at The Park at a later date.Drink specials will be available at the bar until 5 p.m., and we'll each receive one complimentary drink ticket for a funky cocktail, beer, or wine—sure to help us get in the groove—while the all-American fare of sliders, hot dogs, jerk chicken, potato salad, beans, and grilled cheese will be available all party long to keep us spinning at max RPMs all the way through the B-sides. We'll have exclusive access to the entire club throughout the event, and a pair of LivingSocial sunglasses is ours to take home at the end of the night.
