Deal Name: River Tubin' and BYOB BBQin'
Comments: The internet may not actually be a series of tubes, as a U.S. Senator once proclaimed, but that just means we have to look off-line for our tube-based entertainment. Log off your computer and join a real-life social network with this refreshing Adventure: four hours of river tubing at Harpers Ferry, followed by a BYOB catered mountain barbecue with games and round-trip transportation. We'll start by heading to the Rosslyn Metro Station in Arlington (1850 North Moore Street), where our team of tubers will be waiting to check us in. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet—it's mandatory to wear footwear while tubing. From there, we'll head out to West Virginia to Harpers Ferry Adventure Center, where we'll cast off on a four-hour, 6.5-mile tubing trip on the Potomac River. Feel free to bring a floating cooler to keep lunch, snacks, and beverages cool while we're on the water throughout the afternoon. Don't have one? Floating coolers ($20 additional cash-only fee) and cooler tubes ($15 additional cash-only fee) will be available to rent on site. When we come back into port, we'll hop on a bus to be whisked away to a nearby private mountain for our very own BYOB catered barbecue picnic courtesy of Big Daddy's BBQ. We'll gather 'round, relax, and munch on a veritable drop-down menu of eats, including our choice of barbecue chicken and pork, hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, potato salad, and assorted non-alcoholic drinks. Browse through a selection of games and activities—including cornhole and board games. The search results are clear: Cache in on this tubular Adventure before the window closes for good.
