| Here's an Adventure that'll get your feet wet: Join us on a five-day journey for two to the stunning town of Playa del Carmen, Mexico.Our home-base for the trip is the Hotel Aventura Mexicana—a short trip from Cancun International Airport—where our two guides, Mariana and Diran, will greet us and be on hand to guide us through the whole trip.Throughout our five-day stay, we'll be treated to a slew of activities, all while exploring the gorgeous surroundings of this Yucatan gem. We'll tour Mayan ruins in Tulum; join Alltournative Offtrack Adventures for ziplining and rappelling in the Jungle Maya; spend a day in Xel-Há—a natural waterpark, where among other things, we'll join instructors from Delphinus to swim with dolphins, float down a lazy river, zipline, cliff jump, and enjoy an all-inclusive pass, including food and beverages (yes, adult ones, too).We'll also have a day to choose our own adventure: Join Diran on a snorkeling trip to see the exotic life on the Mexican Great Coral Reef and swim with sea turtles, spend the day in the white sand and turquoise water of Mamitas Beach, explore nearby cenotes (underwater caves), or take a stroll down the vibrant Fifth Avenue to check out displays of art and live music pouring from bars and clubs lining the street.Speaking of nightlife, our guides will give us a tour of the best spots to dance the night away in this town where even those from Cozumel come to party. And for food, Mariana is a local expert on choice restaurants where we can taste traditional Playa dishes, as well as Mayan liquors. She'll even take us to her favorite restaurant for a meal to remember.And remember we will: Once we wrap up on Sunday, we'll check out and head our separate ways, albeit with an amazing tan, a new group of friends, and a stack of memories to last us until the next time we take the plunge into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. |
