Learn How to Cook with Beer |
Beer: It's been the subject of summits, songs, and -- with today's deal -- it can be the focal point for your next supper. Hand over $79 for a hands-on lesson in how to cook with beer with local instructor Matt Finarelli at 918 F Street. Join him on select Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning May 2 for this three-hour course, during which you'll learn how to create (then chow down on) a four-course meal using brew-ly intoxicating ingredients. You'll start with a mixed salad with wheat beer vinaigrette, then move on to wild rice cooked in an IPA and fresh corn fritters along with a red chile and pork posole with amber lager. And to top it all off? Chocolate-chipotle-stout cupcakes.
