Located in the state-of-the-art display kitchen in LivingSocial's brand-new space, 918 F Street, this cupcake class is offered select Saturday afternoons in March from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A lawyer-turned-baker, Brown opened his iconic CakeLove in 2002, helping to fuel the fire of DC's cupcake revolution. During this two-hour class, he'll be at the helm to teach you the ins and outs of how to concoct the delicious goods that have led him to be featured on Oprah, The Today Show, and on CNN. From dough to done, you'll learn Brown's secrets of the baking trade and, to top it off, you'll get to take home a half dozen cupcakes. That's what we like to call the icing on the cake. |
