| Whether you're a war re-enactment enthusiast or just trying to impress your hunting-happy in-laws with your (limited) gaming skills, take aim at this Adventure: one-on-one shooting instruction using .12 or .16 shotguns on sporting clays, followed by a catered meal and drinks at Chadwicks in Georgetown.Head to the Rosslyn Metro station where our team of bullseye-savvy munitions pros will usher us onto buses to Prince George's Trap and Skeet. Following a session on safety, we'll put on eye and ear equipment and pair up with a master marksman to get our shootin' on. We'll first get acquainted with the mechanics of our shotgun—how to load, empty the chamber, and check for hazards. Then, we'll point our guns to the skies as a machine tosses clay discs to the air for our shooting pleasure. We'll each have the chance to fire 25 times before showing off our crosshairs skills during a sharpshooting competition.With our trigger fingers exercised, we'll wipe ourselves of the ballistic residue and chow down on a catered meal from Au Bon Pain inside Prince George's fire-heated lodge. Then, we'll jump back on the bus and head to Georgetown for exclusive access to the second floor of Chadwicks. We'll receive two drink tickets to enjoy draft beer or house wine and dive into more refreshments with drink and food specials available for purchase. Once we've mingled to our hearts content, we'll have the option of busing back to Rosslyn (either at 4:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.) or head out on our own.
